Ever wondered how people get that lightning effect in thier images? Its easy and right here! :)
1. Create a new image (file-->new) with a width of 300px and a height of 300px and a white background.
2. Press d to set the colours to default.
3. Go to filter--> render--> clouds
4. Go to filter--> render--> difference clouds.
5. Press ctrl+f 3 times.
6. Press ctrl+i to invert the image.
7. Press ctrl+l to bring up the levels window. Set the input levels to 205, 1.00 and 255.
8. Press ctrl+u and edit the hue and saturation. Be sure to check the colourize box to make the colour show up.

Well well, wasn't that easy?? :D This effect is easy to add to any graphic and has, more often than not, great results!
