Neat Abstract Background image

1. Create a new image with whatever size you want. I chose 300x-300px. Fill the background with black. Create a new layer, and click your gradient tool.
Use these settings for the gradient:

Note: The gradient should go from WHITE to Transparent!

Now in your document, draw quite thick lines with the gradient tool Make it look similar to my picture.

2. Keep making gradients. Don't be afraid if your picture does not look like my now, it's not supposed to.

3. Make some more big gradients, then make lots of thin one's. You'll know how to make thing one's by now ;)

4. Now either use color balance or hue/saturation to color your piece.
Color Balance and Hue/Saturation is located at image - adjustments,
Only one more easy step and we're done!

5. Go to the filters menu, and click brush strokes - angled strokes.
Direction Balance: 71
Stroke Length: 15
Sharpness: 3

Now you're done! Looks nice in my opinion!
