4. Hit Q on the keyboard so you go into quick mask mode
5. Next, click on the brushes icon and then select the basic brushes (in the dropdown menu at the top left)
6. Get a decent brush size around 24 pixels the brush round the picture. Here's mine up to this point:
7. Now hit Q again on the keyboard, this will take you back into standard mode
8. Next, hit ctrl + shift + i and this will inverse your selection.
9. Now go to filter - pixelate - mosaic and set the cell size to 15
10. Next, go to filter - sharpen - sharpen
11. Now click ctrl + f three more times and the mosaic tiles should look quite sharp
12. Now duplicate the layer by going to layer - duplicate layer
13. Now to add a little more effect to it. go to layer - new adjustment layer - color balance. then adjust the setting to your desired color on each shadows, midtones and highlights sections.
14. Once you have the color you want, go to the right side of the screen and you should see your layer palette. the layer called color balance, move that to the top of the list above everything else. your palette should look a little something like this now:
15. You can also add some text to the signature if you like and a border as well. to do an easy border hit ctrl + a on the keyboard then go to edit - stroke and set it to 2 pixels. well, here's my final result
