Plastic Smear

1. New image, 300 x 300 pixels and any background.

2. Filter > Render > Clouds.

3. Filter > Liquify, and smear those clouds all over the place.



4. Press Ctrl + L to bring up the levels dialogue, and select Auto.

5. Press Ctrl + U, check colourize, and use Hue: 83, Saturation: 40 and Lightness: 5.



6. Now duplicate this layer twice (so you will have 3 plastic layers).

7. Set the middle layer's Blending Mode to Multiply.

8. Set the top layer's Blending Mode to Overlay.

9. I had a really dark image so I adjusted the Brightness/Contrast (Image > Adjust > Brightness/Contrast) to liven it up a little. Here is mine, enjoy!
