We'll begin this tutorial, by creating a new canvas with a size of 350 x 200 pixels. Make sure the foreground is black, then go ahead and choose the text tool. I used "Romana BT" bold with a size of 90 pixels. Type "3Dtext".
Now that you have your text, you can now right click on the text layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Bevel and Emboss".
Do not click "OK" yet. Still more to do.
Lets give it some color now by clicking on the "Color Overlay". I chose red, but you can use whatever color you wish.
You may now click "OK."
You should now have the below image.
Now for the fun part. While holding in the "Alt" key on the keyboard, press the down arrow (on your keyboard) one time. This will duplicate the text layer and will move the text down one pixel. Now let go of the "Alt" key and move the layer over one pixel to the left. Repeat this process approximately 8 -9 times.
Now click on "Drop Shadow".
You may now click "OK."
The Results!!!
