Creating a Realistic Embossed Text in a Metal Plate

Create a rounded rectangle using rounded rectangle shape tool.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Similarly create another rounded rectangle with small size.

Type "Speed Freak" using a bold font.

Right click the text layer and select "Convert to shape".

Select all the tex paths using path selection tool and copied it by pressing Ctrl+C.

Now select the rounded rectangle path and Press Ctrl+V to paste the text paths.

Enable "Subtract from shape area at the top bar. Hide the text layer.

Select the subtracted rounded rectangle shape. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Unhide the text layer and fill it with white color.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Create a new layer. Ctrl+Click the first rounded rectangle layer thumbnail to get the selection.

Fill it with black color. From filter menu select "Noise>>Add Noise ". Apply settings as shown.

From filter menu select "blur>>motion blur". Apply settings as shown.

Change the layer mode to "Overlay" from the layer palette. Reduce opacity.
