Fire or Flame Text Effects

Create a new document 440 by 305 pixels and resolution at 72.

Type any word using text tool.

Using smudge tool with brush size 10 and strength at 40% do as shown below.

Use the smudge tool on all the letters and you should get something like this.

Double click on text layer and in bleeding option do as shown below.

Use drop shadow and make selection as shown below.

Now I use bevel and emboss. Depth = 950, size=8 and soft=2 and click ok

You will see the image as below.

Double click on layer and in color overlay select opacity = 100% and color as shown.

Next select stroke size =1 opacity=87 and fill it with red color {F82220} and press ok.

That's how you image will look like.

Lets decorate the fire or flame text with some stars. use brush as shown below.
