July Text

Create a new canvas at about 400 x 200. Now, type July as your text. I used "Vogue" at 72 pixels...black.

Now that you have created your text, you can now right click on the text layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Drop Shadow".

Do not click OK yet... still more to do.

Now by click on "Outer Glow".

Do not click OK yet... still more to do.

Now click "Inner Glow".

Do not click OK yet... still more to do.

Now click on "Bevel and Emboss".

Do not click OK yet... still more to do.

Now click "Contour".

You may now click OK.

You should now have the following.

Now google a flag image (of your country). Save it and open it in Photoshop.

Now hold the "Ctrl" key in and click on the text layer. Now go to the main menu and click on "Select" then "Inverse". Make sure the image, or in this case, the flag layer is selected in the layers palette and hit "Delete" on your keyboard and deselect ("Ctrl" + "D").

The Results!!!

Add some drop shadow to the flag layer and your done.
