Outline Gradient Text

Here is a simple way to get an amazing text effect.

Open a new document (size doesn't matter) with black background.

With the text tool, type in your own text. (I suggest you to use white).

Select the text level, and open the "blending Options" panel (Right click on the level » Blending Options/ Or clicking this button » Blending options).

Select "Stroke" and set:

Size: 1
Fill type: Gradient

Click on the gradient bar that will appear and set your colours (I've used #CC0606 e #D1DD0D).

Select now "Color overlay" and set as color the same color of your image's background (in this case black).

Here is the final result:
