Have you ever seen some inscription on the wall? Probably yes. This tutorial will teach you how to engrave some type in the Wall.

Now let's get to work. Open up Photoshop.
Make a new document or canvas by clicking on File > New. The settings depend on how big you want your text to look. I used these settings:

1. First start a new image in RGB Mode, and make the contents White.
2. Now you need to select the Type Mask Tool. Now type some text then push OK.
3. Once you see that your Text is type start a New Layer (Shft Ctrl N) or push the Create New Layer Button...

Create a new document, use the size you want, it doesn't matter. Then fill the background with a very dark gray, #111111...

Open a new document.
Select black as the Foreground color.
With your type tool write some text:

Start by typing your text. Ctrl select the layer to get the selection. Select gradient tool. Apply settings as shown. Create a new layer. Apply the gradient several times. Press Ctrl+U to desaturate the layer.
