Ok, start off by doing all of your bruishing, coloring, etc.
Then, when you come to the text part of your sig, apply this tutorial. Ok. Start by selecting the text tool from the tool bar. Now type in what you want yhe warped text to say...

1. Type the text in white color on the dark background.
2. Filter > Render > Lighting Effects
(Click OK when asked for Rasterizing the Type)
3. Make the changes in the "Lighting Effects" dialogue

Start by typing "effect" with a bold font.
Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection.
Press Q to enable quick masking.
From filter menu select sketch>>torn edges.
