Electronic Nike Business Card

Author: PSDMaster.com More by this author

In this tutorial I will teach you how to create business cards in Adobe Photoshop. In this case we will use Nike as the company we're making the business card for, but you can use any company or person. The final result can be seen below:

Electronic Nike Business Card Tutorial: Final Result

Start off by creating a document by the size of 350 x 200 pixels, and leave the background in white. Now grab the Rounded Rectangle Tool, and make a selection that covers almost the whole canvas in a nice very light pink/brown color (#F7EEE3). You should have something similar to the image below:

Next apply the following effects to the rounded rectangle:

Now that we have the core let's move on to adding content to the business card. I went online to Google Images and found a nice little Nike logo. I then copied and pasted it to the Photoshop document and cropped the outside of it and added it to the business card. You might have to resize it a bit for it to fit better. Also I lowered its opacity to about 60-70%. You should have something like this:

Now grab a formal type of font like Arial, which is what I used, and add some text like the company name and address to the right of the Nike logo. You should have something similar to this:

Let's now add a faded line to separate the top content and the bottom text we're going to add. Grab your Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a single gray line (#514D4A) across the middle-bottom of the business card. Now go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur, and follow the settings below:

Angle: 0°
Distance: 56 pixels

Set the Opacity of the line to about 35-45%. You should have something similar to this:

Duplicate the gray line and fill it with white (#FFFFFF) and move it one pixel down to have it just like the image above.

To finish off the business card, add personal info like Name, Position, Phone Number, Fax Number, and Website under the line we have just made. Your final result you should look like this:

Note: All the info used on this card was made up and is not real.
