1. First make a new file or open a file where you can make the button
Make a new layer then a selection (My selection is 60 x 20)
Set your foreground color to #afee00 and background color to #3b9d00
Drag with the gradient tool from above the top of the selection to the middle area
2. Reset the colors to black and white (D then X) now select the button again and make a new layer, right click the selection and go to Stroke, use these settings:
Set the layer mode to Overlay and the layer opacity to 40%
3. Create another new layer then make a selection a bit smaller than the height of the button
Use the gradient tool to make a white gradient from the top to the bottom
Set the layer mode to Overlay and the layer opacity to 30%
4. Get the text tool and make some text for the button, I used the font Tahoma, 11pt with no Anti Aliasing
