Micro Gradient Button

1. New Document and Fill Background

Make a new canvas any size, mine's 200 x 200px and then fill the background with #5F5F5F

2. Smoothed Button

Make a new layer and get the Rounded Rectangle Tool

with these options

make a rounded box about this size

3. Blending Options

Go into the blending options for the button layer and set these options:

Drop Shadow:

Inner Shadow:

Inner Glow:

Gradient Overlay:

And the result is:

4. Text etc.

I used Tahoma 12pt no Anti-aliasing, color #FFFFFF and this Drop Shadow:
