Navigation Bar

1. Open any sized document that you want to use as a navigation bar ive choosen 400px by 40px width now select the rectangular marquee tool and make the selection in the center of the document and fill it with black and now make it a selected layer.

2. Now go to Layer - Layer Style - Gradient Overlay now Double click on the graident presets and use the settings below to come up with the custom gradient that am going to use for this tutorial.

3. Now click on the tab on the sides and click on Strokes and make the settings and colors to the correct size.

4. Now you need to click on Bevel Emboss and use the following settings that are presented to you below.
