1. First of all create a new document sized 40x40, fill the background with #fea120, make a new layer and make a selection half the size of the document but the full height, fill the selection with #ffb029
Here either select it all or just 1pixel then make it into a pattern (Edit > Define Pattern)
Make a new document again this time sized 400x400, fill the background with the pattern you just made
2. Get the pen tool
and make a curvy selection like so:
Make the path into a selection by right clicking it with the pen tool out and selecting "Make Selection"
With the gradient tool use these options:
Make a gradient from the left middle area to the middle area like so:
Apply the following layer styles to this shape layer:
(Here is the pattern)
3. Add some text with this font.
I used #ef2c0a and these layer styles:
(Same pattern as before.)
Duplicate the text, change the color to #34b500 and just change the word.
4. On to the pizza!
Create a new layer and make a circle selection at the top right of the shape we've got.
Fill the selection with #f8ca68 and apply these layer styles:
(Same pattern as before.)
Make another smaller circle inside of the main circle and fill it with #f03d11.
Apply the following layer styles:
5. Make a new layer and make some lobsided selections like so:
Right-Click the selections and click "Stroke" use these settings:
Lower the layer opacity to 25%.
You can call that layer onions if you want.
Make another new layer and call it pineapple if you want. With the Polygonal Lasso Tool make some tiny little selections and fill them with yellow like so:
Make another new layer and make some similar selections, fill them with green (#42b801)
Add tomatoes (Just chunks of dark red)
I actually forget cheese.. not sure if it's really necesary but use a 1px soft brush and make a lot of random lines on a new layer:
Apply Filter > Distort > Wave with random settings.
Apply Filter > Blur > Gaussion Blur with a radius of 1.
In the photoshop menu go to Edit > Fade and use 35.
Delete the outside part of the cheese.
Set the layer mode to Softlight and the layer opacity to 70%.
Well that's that. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial & learnt something from it.
