1. Open Photoshop and create a new image, 800x200.

2. For my background I will be using this picture of the Alps. You can use this if you want or you can get your own picture.

3. Put your image on to our canvas and adjust it to how you want it. With the Alps background I moved it so that the top rights matched.

4. Create a new layer, then with the Gradient Tool, select Black to Transparent and drag it from left to right.

5. Set this layers Blending Mode to Saturation

6. This will make the picture fade from black and white to colour

7. I made a logo using a hurricane custom shape that I have, which can be downloaded here.

8. Draw that in to your image, I also made a feather of 2px then filled it.

9. Then I added the Text. Font is Verdana (Windows built in font)

10. I added more text at the bottom for a company moto.

11. For the white lines I using the single line Marquee Tool with a white to transparent gradient and dragged it across on a new layer just above the Alps layer.

12. I also gave this layer an Inner Glow:

Blending Mode: Normal
Opacity: 100%
Colour: #FFFFFF
Size: 1px
