Here's my finished version

Simple Content Box Tutorial: Final Result

Step 1

Create a new document, fill the background with white. Create a new layer and now select the Rectangle Marquee tool and draw a nice sized content box shape, now fill it with #8f8f8f... Check image example.

Step 2

Create a new layer and now select your content shape and go to; Select > Modify > Contract, you will be prompted, select 10 pixels. Now fill this with #f1f1f1. Check image example.

Step 3

Now it's time to add some nice effects on the content box. Let's start with the first part we made, that's the bigger part of the content(The border), use these settings or play about.

It should now look something like this:

Step 4

Okay, let's start on the inner content box, select that layer and lets being adding effects.

It should now look something like this:

It now has a basic border.

Step 5

Now it's time for us to create some sort of box for the links to go on, so it doesn't look extremely plain. This should be easy and very basic so no need for details on how to make it look at mine i created

Now just paste it into your content box and duplicate it will it's full, remember to change the text on some of them, you don't want them all saying whatever you typed.
