Windows Media Player Navbar

Open a new rectangular document (I made 510px * 60 for spaces reasons) and fill with white (Edit - Fill - White).

Create a new layer (name it "main rectangle") and with the "Rectangular Marquee Tool" draw a rectangle a little small than the main rectangle.

Open the "Blending Options" panel and set:

Gradient Overlay with this value:

With the rectangle still selected, go to "Layer - New - Layer" to create a new layer (name it "glass") and then fill the rectangle in the new layer with white.

Hit "CTRL-T" and scale this new rectangle by the 50% of his height, and then set the level's opacity to 53%.

Here is the result:

Ctrl-click on the "main rectangle" layer to select it.

Create a new layer and then go to "Select - Modify - Expand" and set a value of 2.

Fill with white and move this layer below the main rectangle layer (All you have to do is to drag the layer in the "Layer Palette").

Open the "Blending Options" panel and set:

Well, now go to the background layer, fill it with a gradient like this:

Open the "Blending Options" panel, then set:

Here is the results:

Create a new layer between the "main rectangle" and the "glass" layer, and with the "Poligonal Lasso Tool" draw something like this:

Fill the selection with white, then open the "Blending Options" panel and set:

Well, our navbar is now ready to receive our own customization!
