1) Make a 400x400 document. You can edit>fill the background layer to any colour you want, I suggest a moderately dark gray.
2) Now make a rectangle selection, this will be your page, and will it with #C8C860 (or a good yellow of your choice)...

1) Create a 800*800 new document, I don't care if u just want to make a small image, but the canvas' size at the beginning has to be big enough, way bigger than the image u have in it, got it?
2) Now set the foreground color to white, for the text we're gonna enter...
