Only the best abstract art can make its way into headers and logotypes. This tutorial offers you a suitable sample, complete with informal but educational instructions.
1. Open up a new document with transparent background! Size doesn't really matter. For the above image I used 600 x 400 px. Select white as foreground color and press Shift+F5 to fill the whole document.
2. Create a new layer by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N. Hit 'D' to restore the default back ...
1. Create a new document in any size. For this tutorial, my document will be 640x480 in size.
2. Fill your document with Black by going to edit -> fill with these settings:
Contents: Black
Blending Mode: Normal (100%)
3. Go to filter -> render -> lens flare...
1. File > New. Whatever size you want, and the background color should be white. I used 400px X 400px
2. Select the Linear Gradient Tool, and set the blending mode to "Difference" (and press 'D' to reset colors!), also make sure the Gradient is selected to 'Foreground to Background'...
Step 1: Create a new document (400x400) and fill it with black.
Step 2: Go to layer -> new -> layer from background.
Step 3: Go to filter -> render -> lens flare and with the default settings, position it in the top-left corner.
Step 4: Duplicate your layer (Ctrl+J) then go to edit...
Create a new 500x500 document.
Select gradient tool->radial gradient (mode multiply)
Now create circles in left side of document, smth like this.
Filter>Artistic>Plastic Warp (14 8 8)...
1. Make a new image. Any size will do, but for this tutorial I made a 500x500.
2. Filter -> render -> clouds
3. Filter -> render -> difference clouds
4. Duplicate the original layer
5. On the new layer go to filter -> render -> fibers...
1. Open up a new document whatever size. I used 1024x768 for my personal background on my desktop..
2. Press "D" to reset colors to black and white.
3. Switch to your gradient tool and do a little design similar to that, just get to about 10 bars on there...
1. Make a new document, any size doesn't matter. Press Ctrl+D to reset your palette colors.
2. Apply Filter>Render>Clouds.
3. Apply Filter>Artistic>Plastic Wrap with these settings:
a. Create a document which is about 500x500 and press D to reset colors.
b. Choose the Gradient Tool and use the "Foreground to Background" gradient.
c. Use Linear Gradient and set Mode to Difference and Opacity to 100%.
a. Now just click around like crazy, like about 30...
