Start of with opening a new picture 80x20
Fill it with a color you like. I'm goung to use a blueish color for this tutorial (#006CFF)
Take out your Elliptical Marquee Tool and make a little selection at the top of the button.

Start by creating a new file. Draw an rectangle at the top using rectangular shape tool.
Create a line below the top rectangle.
Copy the line layer and palce it at the bottom. Create another thin line.
Create a new layer of width 200px and height 100px so we have enough room, fill the background with a colour, i used #9e622d. Now get out your marquee tool and create a button sized image. Around 70x40 and fill it with a dark brown.

Open a new image 400x400 and have the background transparent. Make two guides by going View > New Guide.
Guide 1: 200px Vertical Guide 2: 200px Horizontal
