Fire on a Torch Animation
Start by opening an image of a torch.
Knock out the arm from background using your favourite cutout method.
Using lasso tool select fire from torch.
Select liquify from filter menu.
Creating a waterfall
Start by opening an image of a girl. We'll
create a waterfall out of nothing.
Create a new layer and press Q to enable quick masking. Apply filter>>render>>fibers.
Use settings as shown.

Start by creating a circle using elliptical shape tool. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply layer style with the settings shown. Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu apply modify>>contract.
