Making a 3D Logo

Learn to create a cute logo and, whats more important, the 3d effect which is used here.
Creating a Metal Texture
Make a new document, 1000x1000 pixels, white background.
Go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise and give a 56% noise, Gaussian monochromatic.
Now go to Filter > Blur > Motion blur and apply a motion bur with these values: angle: 0, distance 100 pixels.
Changing the Eye Color
Open the image you want to modify. This is mine:
Now zoom to around 6-700% to see the eye extremely large in order to make an accurate selection. Take the pen tool and make the eye shape like in my example. It doesn't have to be perfect. Now right click and choose "Make selection"...
Polishing Old Gold
Start by opening a image.
Press Ctrl+U to open hue/saturation window. Apply settingsa as shown.
Duplicate the layer.
From layer pallete change the color mode to linear dodge.

Fiery Explosion Effect
Start by opening a new file. Press D to set foreground and background colors to dafault B&W. From filter menu select render>>difference clouds.
Duplicate the layer and press Ctrl+f to apply the effect again.
Press Ctrl+F to reapply the filter. Keep on pressing Ctrl+F...

Colorizing a Black and White Image
At the end of this tutorial, you will be able to turn this into this.
I advise you to start with a good quality and resolution image. You will have to change the color mode of the image from RGB or greyscale to CMYK. In the menu, go to Image>mode>CMYK.
