So here we go:
Open Adobe photoshop
Choose white foreground and black background.
Create a new file in grayscale mode and choose 400 x 200 as the canvasg size. Choose the contents as Background colour:
1. Create new file with white background. Type the text.
2. Fill it with the color resembles to stone. Try the last row of color swatches.
3. Layer > Layer Style > Bevel & Emboss
( depth 700 size 5 Chisel Hard)
OK lets begin. Open up whatever you want to use this effect on. Type it in any kind of background you want. <br/>Now Right click on the Text layer and select Blending Options. Use these settings:

2. Filter > Noise > Add Noise
(Amount: 7, Uniform, Monochromatic)
Say OK when asked for Rasterizing the type.
1. Type the text in white color on the dark background.
2. Filter > Render > Lighting Effects
(Click OK when asked for Rasterizing the Type)
3. Make the changes in the "Lighting Effects" dialogue
1. Type the text in the shade of Brown as shown below.
2. Filter > Noise > Add Noise
Say OK when asked for Rasterizing the type.
Photoshop provides many tools to make your text look more appealing. Glossy text for example is seen on many websites and applications. This method can be used on anything and is not limited to only text.
