When GreyCobra Productions was in the process of being upgraded from version 5 to version 6, we had many promotional banners lying around the site with this special effect. The effect combines a few simple techniques in Adobe Photoshop to create a stunning blend of lighting and motion.

1. Create a new document, 800 x 600. Make sure the background is white and create a new layer (Ctrl + Shft + N)
2. Fill this layer with black and go to Filter > Noise > Add Noise.
The settings: Amount – 100, Distribution – Gaussian, Monochromatic ticked.
Start with a document 400X400 px, add some fibers so you'll get something like this.
Then add some motion, put the direction at 90 degrees and the distance to 100.
Then add some radial blur with an amount of 50 and pick spin
Then go to filter > stylize > glowing.
Step 1: Make a new document, size 400x90 and fill the background with black (#000000)
Step 2: Grab the pen tool and select the color white (#ffffff) and just go crazy all over the page, until you have something like this.
Step 1 - Make a sig or any image you want, im gonna use a sig i recently made. its 400x85 and you can have it anycolor u like (*tip gradients work best for this kind of tutorial*)

Open a new 500 x 500 Document.
Create a new layer and fill it in with black.
Go to Filter > Render > Lens flare. ( 85%, 50-300mm Zoom ). Place it some where in the middle
1. Open your picture and fill it with black.
2. Add a few lens flare here and there.
3. Go Filter > Sketch > Chrome

4. Duplicate the layer by clicking Ctrl+J
