Bounce the Ball in Flash


This tutorial was written for the Flash Designer software, which allows you to create flash animations in a much easier way than by using Macromedia Flash. You may get Flash Designer here.

Version 1

1. Launch Flash Designer Draw a circle

2. Choose "Item" > "Line & Fill" > "Gradient Fill".

3. Use the following gradient:

4. Choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation" and set up the following animation:

5. Choose "Item" > "Sprite Animation" to loop it.

6. Set frame delay to "Stop"

7. Hit F9 for a preview.

Version 2

1. Modify the movie so the ball moves across the screen.

2. Open t1055.sfd document

3. Select the ball and choose "Edit" > "Convert to Sprite"

4. Hit Esc to quit the sprite

5. Resize the sprite and move it outside the right edge. Double click the sprite and move the ball to the top. Hit Esc to quit the sprite:

6. Choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation" and select "Fly", "Left" options:

7. Choose "Item" > "Sprite Animation" to loop it.

8. Double-click the sprite and select the ball, choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation" and modify the animation:

9. Hit Esc to quit the sprite

10. Hit F9 for a preview.
