Text Animation


This tutorial was written for the Flash Designer software, which allows you to create flash animations in a much easier way than by using Macromedia Flash. You may get Flash Designer here.

To create the text animation:

  1. Launch Flash Designer. Choose "Frame" > "Frame Size" to set movie dimensions.
  2. Choose "Text" tool and click on the frame. Type the text (for example "Text Animation") and click OK.
  3. Choose "Edit" > "Align" > "Center on Page" to center the text on the frame.
  4. Choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
  5. Check "Glyph Animation" option and choose "Zoom". Click OK.
  6. Press F9 to preview the animation. Hit "Esc" to close preview.
  7. Choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
  8. Check "Fade" option. Click OK.
  9. Press F9 to see how the fade option works.

2 Way & Always Visible option

  1. Make sure the text is still selected.
  2. Choose "Item" > "Intro" > "Intro Animation"
  3. Check "2 Way" and "Always Visible" option. Click OK.
  4. Press F9 to see how these options work.
