Welcome to my full signature tutorial. You will learn how to create a fantastic signature by using defaults! So lets started. Make a new document with a transparent BG, after that you could search www.google.com for wallpaper with some shapes like this:
As you can see i smudged something, use your own smudge brushes with your own settings and try to create something similar to that! Now open up your render.
Now duplicate the wallpaper thing and bring it to the top, after that with a soft round brush erase a lot until you get something like this:
Make a new layer and get out your pencil tool, now make a small line with a nice bright color. I will use pink!
Now i made a new layer and with a soft round brushes I brushed with pink:
On a new layer I added another pencil line:
I made another one on a new layer (you might wanna lower the opacity):
Again i'm going to brush a bit with a brownish color and (use a soft brush again):
Again I'm gonna brush a little bit, with a darker brownish color:
On a new layer I brushed again with a nice brown color:
Now we are going to add some more color, go to Layer>>New adjustment layer>>Gradient map. Now use a gradient which matches the color of the sig, I'll use this one:
Now set the layer mode to "Color Burn" and use an opacity of 34%:
I'm going to add another gradient map now, but this time I'll use this one:
Set the blending mode to "Multiply" and use an opacity 39%:
Now add a brightness/contrast layer, go to Layer>>New adjustment layer>>Brightness/contrast. Play with the settings. Here is my result:
On a new layer I made a light grey gradient and change the blending mode to "Lighten" and 19% opacity:
Now you should play with the Gradient maps and Layer modes and the opacity's. Here's my first gradient:
Change the blending mode to whatever looks good, also change the opacity if necessary. Here is my second gradient map:
Change the blending mode and the opacity again if necessary. Here is my third gradient map:
Again change the blending mode and the opacity. Here is my fourth gradient map:
And that's it! You are done!
Now I will show you what gradient I used:
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
Most of the blending options I use:
- Darken
- Multiply
- Screen
- Lighten
I change the opacity somewhere around 20-60%!
My final result:
