Step 1:
Let's start out by creating a new file. I used a 600x500 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with black color. Now make a new layer set and name it 'Apple's Monitor Design'. Then in a new layer draw a large rectangle with #F4F4F4 color shade and 395x250 px dimensions.
Step 2:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Drop Shadow, Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your white rectangle layer.
Step 3:
In a new layer draw a dark rectangle with #0A0A0A color shade and 363x217 px dimensions for the screen. Then under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Outer Glow and Inner Glow blending options.
Step 4:
Create a new layer, using the Rounded Rectangle Tool draw a small rounded rectangle with #D9D9D9 color shade and 68x29 px dimensions. Then cut out the curve shown below using the Marquee Selection Tool.
Step 5:
Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to the cut out gray rounded rectangle layer.
Step 6:
In a new layer draw a dark rounded rectangle with #2B2B2B color shade and 395x29 px dimensions below the long rectangle design layer.
Step 7:
Now add a sample image for your screen with 363 x 213 px dimensions. Then add a small apple logo below the screen, download the apple logo used on this design here.
Step 8:
Duplicate your 'Apple's Monitor Design' layer set then go to Layer > Merge Layer Set, this should turn the duplicated mac design into a regular layer. Now go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, use the setting below.
Step 9:
On your Layers Window move the duplicated mac design layer behind your original 'Mac Monitor Design' layer set. Then erase the top and bottom ends of the blurred design.
