Blood Drops


1) Make a 400x400 document. You can edit>fill the background layer to Dark Grey

2) Use the Lasso Tool:

to Make some selections, roughly how you want your blood drops to look like, should look like this:

3) Now we want to smooth these sections out. Go to Selection>Modify>Smooth and do so by 20 pixels. Then Create a New Layer and Fill those Selections with Bright Red Like So:

4) Add some dimension to the blood drops by doing a filter>artistic>plastic wrap with the following settings

5) Now we're almost done! We want to ctrl+click on that blooddrops layer and then go to selection > modify >contract 3 pixels. Then a selection>feather> 3 pixels.

Next Inverse Selection by: selection>inverse then do a filter>blur>gaussian blur of magnitiude 3.6

6) Finally Change the Layer Blending mode From Normal to Multiply, and you should come out with something like

This should return something like this.
