Brushed Metal Button with Brown Sides


1. First of all open a new document take any size here I have used document size = 420 x 420 pixel, 96 = resolution with RGB color mode.

2. Create a new layer from the Layer window and fill the Gray color.

3. Go to Filter menu>Noise>Add Noise and use the following setting.

4. Now go to Filter>Blur>Motion Blur and use the setting below

5. Now create a new channel as shown below

6. Create a new rounded shape and fill the white color

7. Go to Filter menu>Blur>Gaussian Blur and use the following settings

8. Copy to the Alpha1 channel and Ctrl+Click on this channel

9. Now press the Ctrl+Shift+I And now Press the Ctrl+C

10. Here click on Layer window and press the Ctrl+V as shown below

11. Ctrl+Click on this Layer and now go to Select menu>Modify>Contract> and use the following setting

12. Now fill the gray color and deselect

13. Now go to Filter>Render>Lighting Effects and use the following settings

14. Your image should look like this .

15. Type any words with the help of the Text tool.

16. Double click on this text layer and select the Bevel and Emboss from the Layer style and use the following settings

17. Press the Ctrl+I. As shown below

18. Ctrl+Click on this Layer or selection to the Image with Rectangular marquee tool Now press Ctrl+J

19. Now go to Select menu> Modify>Border Selection and use the setting below now create a new layer2 from the layer window after that fill with any nice color.

20. Go to Select menu>Grow and press the 'Delete' key on your keyboard ,now deselect

21. Double click on this layer2 and select the Bevel and Emboss from the Layer style and use the setting below

22. If you want , you can change the Background color and now your image had been completed as shown below
