Create Submit Button


1. Create new document (Ctrl + N) with your desired width and height size. I will start with 200 x 200 pixels.

2. Create new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N).

3. Fill the layer (Shift + F5) with any color. I use black (000000) in this example.

4. Right click on the new created layer (Layer 1), and choose "Blending Options...".

5. Click on "Pattern Overlay" and use this setting below:

6. If you can't find the pattern like mine, try to load other patterns file. The pattern I use is in "Patterns.pat".

7. Click on "Gradient Overlay" and use this setting below:

8. Create new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N). The new layer should be on top of Layer 1.

9. Grab "Rectangular Marquee Tool" (M). 10. Draw a long button like showing in the picture.

11. On the menu, choose "Select > Modify > Smooth". For the "Sample Radius", put 7 pixels. 12. Fill the selected area with d3913c color (Shift + F5).

13. Now, right click on "Layer 2" and choose "Blending Options...".

14. From the left options, click on "Inner Shadow" and use this setting below:

15. Create new layer (Shift + Ctrl + N).

16. Goto "Layer 2", grab "Magic Wand Tool (W)", and select the button.

17. Go back to "Layer 3", the new layer you just created in step 15.

18. Fill it with White color (Shift + F5).

19. Grab an "Elliptical Marquee Tool (M)". If you can't see Elliptical Marquee Tool, you need to click and hold your mouse on the button until it shows some options.

20. Make the following selection:

21. Select Inverse (Ctrl + Shift + I) and clear the area (Delete).

22. Deselect the selection, and now you are seeing something like this:

23. Now, right click on "Layer 3" and choose "Blending Options...". Apply this setting:

24. Choose "Gradient Overlay" from options on the left. Apply this setting:

25. For the "Gradient" color, use this setting below:

26. Duplicate "Layer 2" and put the duplicate under the "Layer 2". To duplicate a layer, select the desired layer then go to menu "Layer > Duplicate Layer...".

27. The new duplicated layer will be "Layer 2 copy". Click this layer and move it down by 6 pixel.

28. Right click on "Layer 2 copy" and choose "Blending Options...".

29. From left menu, choose "Outer Glow" and apply this setting:

30. The button is ready now. You can put the text "Submit" with your chosen color. This is what I have:
