Converting visitors into clients it's an increasingly difficult task. The Call to Action buttons can have an essential role when it comes to web marketing. So, this simple and quick tutorial we bring to you today is about how to create a beautiful call to action button so you can maximize your sales on your website.
Step 1
For this tutorial we're going to create a big button, so you can see the details of it and how they are important even if they are almost invisible.
Open your Photoshop document. After doing that, go to the layers panel, and pressing the Alt key, click twice with your mouse on the background layer so it can be unlocked and editable. Then open the layerstyle panel and apply a Gradient Overlay style to the layer.
Step 2
Before we start to draw our button, we need some guides, because we're going to use two Rounded Rectangle Shapes. Drag a horizontal and vertical guides to the center of the document.
Now, select the Rounded Rectangle Shape and set the radius to a very high value, like 200px for example. Pressing the Alt key, put the mouse at the center of the document (where the guides meet each other) and start dragging.
Step 3
After you draw the first shape, repeat the process once more but now a little smaller.
Attention: To get a realistic button you need to maintain the distances between the edges equal, like is shown on the example (red marked).
Step 4
Select the bigger shape and open the layerstyles panel and apply the following styles.
Step 5
Now, select the smaller shape and, opening the layerstyles panel, apply this styles.
Step 6
Now our button is almost done. We need just to add some text. Grab the Text tool and choose the Bebas Neue font. Type your text in the middle of the button.
