Creating a Fur Look Photo Frame


Create a rectangle using rectangular shape tool.

From "Filter" menu select "Sketch>>Torn Edges". Apply settings as shown.

Ctrl+Click the layer thumbnail to get the selection. From select menu select modify>>contract. Contract the selection by 6 pixels.

Press Delete to remove the area under selection.

Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Duplicate the layer and scale down.

Create some circles using elliptical shape tool. Place it on each corner. Apply same layer style.

Select and merge all the layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.

Duplicate the layer and change the layer mode to "Color Dodge".

Insert your image. Move this layer below all the layers in layer order in layer palette.
