Step One
Make a new image size: 360 X 360
Step Two
Select the Rectangular Marquee Tool and make the fixed size width 180 px and height 260 px.
Put in the middle of the image and fill it with black.
Step Three
Then select the Elliptical Marquee Tool and make the fixed size width 355 px and height 50 px.
Then put the ovals on the top and bottom of the box. (Hold Shift to "Add to selection") Like so:
Step Four
Cut off the edges where the black box isn't on the sides. Use the Rectangular Marquee Tool, make it deselect and make sure u change the style from Fixed Sized to Normal. Like so:
Then fill the selection with black and you should see this.
Step Five
Then go Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options from the top menu and apply theses styles:
Colours are: #6A1010 and #AE0D27. Now you should see this:
Step Six
Call this layer "Shell" and then make a new one and call this one "Bottom". Get the Brush Tool and select a Circle and make it 60 px. Then make two circles on the bottom. Like so:
Step Seven
Then cut off the sides where the "Shell" layer isn't. Like so:
Then make The "Bottom" layer under the "Shell"layer.
Step Eight
Make a new layer call it "Buttons-Floor". Then select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and set the Radius at 10 px.
Then make the shape on the top half of the "Shell". Like so:
Step Nine
Now change the Radius to 20 px make a vertical shape down the middle of the the bottom half of "Shell". Like so:
Then Select "Buttons-Floor" layer and link it with the other layer.
Press Ctrl + E to merge layers.
Step Ten
Make sure you're on "Buttons-Floor" and go to the Blending Options (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options) And apply these.
Colour: #D6D6D6
Step Eleven
Make a new layer called "Scroller" and select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and set the Radius to 15 px. Now make the shape in the the other shape from before like so:
Rasterize the layer.
Step Twelve
Go to the Blending Options (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options) and apply these.
Colour: #E8E8E8
Should look like this:
Step Thirteen
Select the Rounded Rectangle Tool and set the Radius to 5 px and make a square on the top part of "Buttons-Floor". Should look like this:
Then rasterize the layer.
Step Fourteen
Set these Blending Options. (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options).
Colour: #B9B9B9
You should get something like this:
Name this layer "Screen-Floor"
Step Fifteen
This step's a little hard. Now make a new layer, call it "Button-Border" and draw a rounded corner with a 1 px pencil in the corners of "Buttons-Floor" like this:
Set the opacity to 70%. Then on the inside just colour it with black and make the opacity to 15% (make a new layer for this. Put it under "Button-Border" and call it "Buttons")
Step Sixteen
Now go to the Custom Shape Tool and select the arrow.
And Put the arrow in the left box.
Then hit Ctrl + T and rotate it around so it faces the other way. Hit enter to finish the change. Then rasterize the layer and call it "Button-Arrow". Set opacity to 50%.
Step Seventeen
Copy this render:
Then paste it on top of the "Scroller" and set the layer to Darken and set opacity to 10%. Name this layer "Scroller-Icon"
Step Eighteen
Copy this render:
Then paste it on top of the right button. Name this layer "Button-Circle" and set layer to Darken and set opacity to 50%.
Step Nineteen
Now select the Rectangle Tool and make a rectangle on top of "Screen-Floor".
Then rasterize the layer. Then add these blending options. (Layer > Layer Style > Blending Options)
The colours are just white and black.
Step Twenty
Copy the "Shell" layer and put the copies layer under the original. Rename the copied layer "Back"
Hit Ctrl + T and make it a bit bigger then "Shell". Like so:
Then go to the blending options and uncheck Gradient Overlay and go to Colour Overlay. Make it white.
Step Twenty One
Then get the Elliptical Marquee Tool and select the top 3/4 of "Back" Like this:
Press Ctrl + Shift + I and hit Delete.
Final Result
Now you can add a background and other details to the screen if you want. Hope you learned something from this tutorial.
