This tutorial teaches you to draw a candy gift box. You will also learn how to simply duplicate and arrange the layers to give a 3d look to the object and how to use autoshapes in professional way :)Final output can be seen below :
Draw this path with pen tool
Adjust the nodes to have a heart shape :
Control+enter from the keyboard, create a new layer and fill the selection with #FF1A6D color.
Make a duplicate of this layer by pressing control+j. Place it below the first shape and apply Color Overlay as shown :
Press control+j to duplicate the layer again. Press control+t to transform the layer and set the #890300 color for the color overlay.
Similarly, duplicate the layer for two more times and place them as shown.
Now, with the help of pen tool, draw this shape.
Apply gradient overlay in it as shown:
Similarly, draw another shape as shown:
Draw another shape with pen tool as shown by the arrow :
Now click on autoshapes and select "Bow" shape :
Draw the bow as shown:
Press control+j to duplicate the bow layer. Move it 3-4 pixel upward and apply similar gradient overlay as we applied for strips :
Now, group and merge two bow layers and apply these layer styles in it :
