10. Get the selection, go back to the channels palette, make a new layer(Call that Layer "CoolChannel") and fill with white. Goto Filter Blur-Gaussian Blur and use my settings.

11. Go back to the Layers Palette. Now the funny part begins. We want a metallic, sorry a cool metallic look!

12. For that reason go to Filter-Render-Lightning Effects. At the bottom of the new window called "Lightning Effects" you see a box called "Texture Channel". Select your "CoolChannel" Channel HiHi;-). Play around with the settings or just use mine. Press O.K.

13. Ya baby that looks fine, but not fine enough!!! Here comes a useful trick. Copy this layer ones. Goto Edit-Transform and flip it Horizontal. Switch the Blending Mode to Soft Light. Merge them together and the first element is hardly ready. Goto Image-Adjustments-Curves and use this settings. Haha. Now it looks fine.

14. Copy this ChainLayer 4 times (call them ChainLayer2, ChainLayer3, ChainLayer4)

15. Place them like I've done.And turn them (Edit-Transform-Rotate)

16. Now copy the first ChainLayer. Put this Layer(called ChainLayer Copy) above the ChainLayer2. Press E in order to take the Eraser Tool. Delete the top-right edge part in order to connect them. Repeat this steps and the Chain is ready.

17. That means place the Copy of ChainLayer2 above ChainLayer3. Place the Copy of ChainLayer3 above ChainLayer4. :-)
