We'll begin this tutorial, by changing the canvas color to aaafb5 and creating a polygon shape using the "Polygon Tool" with 6 sides, color black.
Now duplicate the shape and move to get the following pattern. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard for accuracy.
Next, using the "Rectangular Marquee Tool" go to the Options pallete above and change the Style to Fixed Size and type in 14 for the width and 12 for the height. Click once on the canvas and move to the approximate area that I have indicated below. Once satisfied with the placement of the selection, go to the main menu and select "Image" then "Crop".
Now go to the main menu once again and select "Image" then "Image Size" and change the width to 12 and the height to 10. Then to the main menu one last time to save the pattern going to "Edit" then "Define Pattern". Give it a name such as "Speaker Pattern" and click "OK".
Now create a new document and select the "Elipse Tool" and draw a circle as I have done below with bfbfbf as your foreground color. Hold in the shift key to draw a perfect circle.
Now, right click on the circle layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Drop Shadow".
Do not click OK yet. Still more to do.
Now click on "Outer Glow".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do.
Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following:
Once again, select the "Elipse Tool" and draw a circle with white as your foreground color. Hold in the shift key to draw a perfect circle.
Now, right click on the circle layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Inner Glow".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do.
Now click on "Pattern Overlay" and select the previously created pattern.
You may now click "OK."
You should now have the following:
