Fold Corner Effect

Let's make a new document. Dimension is not important for the tutorial since I will only show you how to make the corner.

On the document draw a rectangle. Don't make it the same width and height as the document. As always leave some space.

Now ad two anchor point near the right top corner. One on the top margin and one on the right margin. After that delete the corner anchor point. Result it this:

Now move the two anchor points so you make the "hole" bigger.

Now draw another rectangle over the hole with the top left corner and the buttom right corner exactly over the margin of the hole. Delete the top right anchor point. Result is this:

Now it is time to ad effects.

To the foil corner ad a gradient:

Adjust the angle so that the light gray line is parallel to the foil line.

Now ad a drop shadow. Also adjust the angle so that it gives the impression that the shadow comes from the corner. The result is this one:

Now just play with the effects of the "paper". Ad some writing and you are done.

Simple and effective. doesn't take more than 10 minutes.
