Start by opening the same picture I used using Adobe Photoshop. You can take them from here earth and hands .

Start by opening the hands photo. Then duplicate the layer just like in the picture but just for this photo.

image 1

Now select the Elliptical Marquee tool like in the picture below.

image 2

Use it on the earth picture and select the planet. When you selected it press Ctrl+C to copy the selected part. Then go to the hands photo and paste it using Ctrl+V.

You should have these layers.

image 3

Then set the opacity of layer 1 to 40 % like in the picture.

image 4

Now let's grab the Polygonal Lasso tool.

image 5

Use it to your picture.Draw a line and be careful to follow the end of the fingers like in the pictures. At the bottom it doesn't matter just cut it up but be sure not to cut also the planet.

image 6

At the end be sure you unify the end of the lasso tool with the beginning to make the selection. After this is made press delete to delete the selection you made. And then Ctrl+D to deselect it.

Set the value of the opacity to 100% again.

Now select the brush tool.

image 7

Select the black colour and use it to paint the bottom of the photo in black following the contour of the hands. Like I did.And this should be your final result.
