Growing Grass in the Desert

Start by opening an image of a desert.

Create a new layer and select brush tool. Press F5 to open brush settings window. Select grass brush form custom brushes.

Apply settings as shown.

Apply the brush on sand area.

Change the layer mode to hard light.

Apply the grass brush again in a new layer with a dark shade of green color.

Change the layer mode to linear light.
