Step 1: We are going to make a simple but yet unique buisness logo. So what you want to do is open up a new document, the size dosent really matter, its what ever your most comfortable with. Just make sure you got some work space. Once you have your document you will want to make a new layer. So go to layer/new layer. Name the layer, "Oval". Then select the Elliptical Marquee Tool.
Draw an oval selection, once you have that grab the paint tool, and fill the oval with the color "FF9600". Then draw a smaller oval inside that oval, and press backspace. Now you will just have a oval with a white oval inside it.
Step 2:The next step is to grab the text tool. You will make the text the same color as the oval which is, "FF9600". Your going to write in the oval what ever text you want. I will just write Business as the dummy text.
Now that you have that make another new layer by going to layer/ new layer. Call this buildings. What we are going to do is draw some buildings on top of the oval using the pollygonal lasso tool which is right under the ellpitical marquee tool. Draw about a five pixel outlining of buidlings on top of the oval. You should have something like this.
Then color it in the same color as you did the text.
Step 3: What we want to do next is color in the buildings. So make a new layer under all the other layers. Grab the pollygonal tool again and draw an outline under the buildings. Once you have your selection color it in with the color, "FFCC84".
After doing all that were going to give it a little touch up. Using the same polygonal tool we been using, were going to make little lining edges. If you dont know exactly what I mean take a look it the image below.
After the selection is made, go to layer/new layer and call it outline. Then just color it in the color, "FF9600". Add a subtitle and your are done with your simple logo, which looks alot more then just simple.
