This speed painting is for chess piece face. I make the chess pieces with epoxy putty. And I print this painting to sticker paper and then I stick it to the chess piece face. There is two group, Indonesian ghost VS American ghost. The face is small, only 1 x 1cm, so I don't need to make detailed painting.
1.The first, make an rough sketch in the new layer, place it above background layer.
2.At this time, I'll paint in one layer, for saving time. Make block color in new layer. Use hard round brush for it (hardness: 100%). Then choose color for highlight and shadow. Trace the outline with shadow color.
3.Make selection of block color layer, you can use Ctrl+ LeftClick on the layer thumbnails, and then hide the selection with Ctrl+H, this selection is for make the colors are not out of line.

4.Add detailing to eyes.
5. Add highlight.
6.Make new layer, place it above "color" layer, and change blending layer to Overlay. And then add ambient light, I choose orange and dark red color.
