Rain drops

Gaze out of that rain-soaked window.

01. Select the 'Brush' tool and go to Window --> Brushes (or F5). Go to Brush Tip Shape. Set the 'Diameter' to 25px, the 'Spacing' at 5% and the 'Hardness' to 100%.

02. Go to 'Shape Dynamics'. Set the 'Size Jitter' to 100%, the 'Roundness Jitter' to 75%, the 'Minimum Roundness' to 25%, and check the 'Flip X Jitter' and 'Flip Y Jitter' boxes.

03. Go to 'Scattering'. Set the 'Scatter' to Both Axes and 38%. Set the 'Count' to 5, and the 'Count Jitter' to 0%.

04. Take your brush and paint raindrops across the canvass. Use different brush diameters to vary the raindrop size.

05. Take the image you want to be 'looking at' through the window. Place this image under your raindrops layer. Set the raindrops layer's 'Fill' to 0%.

06. Apply 'Inner Shadow' to the raindrops layer. Set the 'Blend Mode' to Overlay, the color to white, and the opacity to 90%. Set the 'Angle' to 125 degrees.

07. Apply 'Outer Glow' to the raindrops layer. Set the 'Opacity' to 10px, color to white, and 'Size' to 3px.

08. Apply 'Bevel and Emboss' to the raindrops layer. Set the 'Size' to 7px, the 'Angle' to -135 degrees, the 'Altitude' to 40 degrees, the 'Highlight Mode' to Overlay, color to white, opacity to 20%.

09. Apply 'Satin' to the raindrops layer. Set the 'Blend Mode' to Overlay, color to white, opacity to 75%, the 'Angle' to 19 degrees, the 'Distance' to 10px, and 'Size' to 15px.

10. Here is the finished result.
