Rating Graphic

Select polygonal lasso tool. Set the feather to 0 and draw a selection as shown :

Create a new layer by pressing shift+ctrl+n together and fill the layer with #D6D6D6

Now deselect. Use dodge tool, set the Range to Highlights and Exposure to 20. Use soft feather 40 pixel brush and drag the brush over top and just above the bottom of the shape. It will give your graphic a shining look as you can see below :

Apply these layer styles :

This is what will you get after applying above layer styles :

Now draw this star. Its present in the autoshapes. color used = #F6B54D

Apply these layer styles :

Our star is not an ordinary star, it has a golden look now :)

Duplicate and place the stars as shown :

Draw a light gray line and below it a white color line with 1 pixel pencil after creating a new layer :

Either group and merge these two lines, duplicate and place them as shown and cut the portion which is covering the blank area or draw these two lines again. Whatever you do, you should have image as shown below :

Draw a circle with ellipse tool :

Apply gradient overlay :

Also add #AF0600 color 1 pixel stroke in it :

Control+click on its layer name in layer palette to select it. Create a new layer and fill the layer with white color :

Use eraser to erase the part of the layer as shown. It will give very famous glossy look to the button :

Type as shown. I have used Arial Black font for this :

Add your custom text :

Again, with the help of polygonal lasso tool draw a selection as shown :

Create a new layer and fill the selection with black. Send this layer back :

Now, apply similar layer style (gradient overlay and stroke) as we applied it the button :

Give very familiar glossy look to this shape too. Also add little drop shadow in it :

Type the rating with any pixel font. Our rating graphic is ready :)
