Thumb Tacked Polaroids


Step 1

Open and resize your first photo to 197 x 206 pixel.

Have a look on google to find a thumbtack transparent gif image.

Step 2

Open a new document of 220 x 267 pixels and draw this rectangle.

Select View Rulers and place 4 new guides to help you to draw.

Zone A : color ….e5f2f1
Zone B : color …..ddeaea.

Step 3

Place your first photo (197 x 206 pixel) in the center.

Step 4

Lace a new layer and draw a transparent corner style … 46 % opacity,

Rearrange the edge if necessary

Step 5

Open your main image

That should have the resolution of your computer screen, for my part it's 1024 x 768 pixels.

And place your small polaroid's images inside.

Edit.. Transform.. Rotate..

Blending Options : Drop shadow….Blend mode : Multiply : Black

Opacity 50 % ..Angle 30 degree ….Use global light

Distance 1 pixel… Spread 0 % ….. Size 5 pixels

The last step: place the gif shaped thumbtack where you want.
