Ticket Stub


Everyone wants a StarWars ticket right? Well, most people do. Learn how to make your very own now.

1: Open a new document, white background, 400x400 px.

2: Now make a new layer and on it put a rectangle in the center of it. Mine size was 230x112 px.

3: Fill it with what ever color you want. Now Layer>Layer Style> Stroke. Add a 7px stroke. Position: Inside

4: Now create a 40x40 Circle.

5: Give the circle an abstract color so you can see it easily and place it so its on the end of the rectangle half on and half off, on both sides.

6: While holding down the CTRL key, click on the layer that has the ticket on it and then press delete.

7: Now you can delete the layer with the circles on it, or you can just click the eye too the left of it making it invisible.

8: Create a new layer and make a 30x30 pixel Circle. Duplicate it and place it on the corners like below.

9: Go back too the layer with the ticket and while holding down the CTRL key, click the layer with the 4 circles, then press delete.

Your done, add some effects/text and you have a ticket stub.

Missing something here. On step 5 if I do as indicated I delete the background without creating the hole in the background. I am just left with the circles. What am I not catching here?
