Make a... i dunno what it is really : make sure you read carefully as there are some tricky parts
1. Start off with a new image, 500 PX x 500 PX with a black background.
2. Make a new layer, give it the default name then grab the polygon lasso tool
3. Make a selection similar to the one below and fill it 16307C but DONT DESELECT!
4. Now grab the airbrush tool (or the paint brush tool will be fine) with a size of around 25, make some lines at some edges in the colour 00F6FF
5. Now CTRL + D to deselect.
6. Duplicate this layer and set the blending options to screen, click Edit > free transform and rotate it about 90* or something
7. Duplicate this layer, which should be already set to screen and rotate this another 90*
8. And last time, duplicate it and rotate it 90*
9. Now CTRL + E - 3 times will make them become one
10. Duplicate this layer, and set the blending options to screen - and rotate it where ever, juts make it look balanced
11. Duplicate this layer
12. Now, Filter > Distort > wave - use the following settings and try to get it to look.. similar
13. Straight after this, click Edit > fade wave - and fade it to around 65%
14. Click Filter > wave (not filter > distort > wave) then fade it again
15. Again.. filter > wave - and then edit > fade wave - 65% .. then finally the wave once more (no fade this time though)
16. Click back on the layer below, which looks like the current layer USED to look. and do the Filter > wave - fade to 65% (do the wave 4 times, and the fade 3 times like the last steps)
17. Click filter > distort > polar to rectangular
18. Then, edit > transform > flip vertical
19. After, filter > distort > rectangular to polar
20. Click Image > adjust > hue/saturation and your finished!
2 finished results:
