Switching Text

Start with Photoshop

Open a new document. I've chosen 200x100 px. Grab the text-tool and type a word. I typed "156".

Go down to Layers-palette and rightclick the text-layer and hit Rasterize Layer. Grab Rectangular Marquee Tool and make a selection around "1".

Go to Layer > New > Layer via Copy (ctrl + j). Remember to activate the 156-layer each time you copy a letter.

Grab Rectangular Marquee Tool again and make a selection around "5". Go to Layer > New > Layer via Copy (ctrl + j).

Repeat the step with "6". Then delete the 156-layer.

ImageReady

Activate Animations-palette right under the Tool-menu. In Animations-palette you can see one frame. Go to Layers-palette. In the left side of all layers there is an eye. If you hit the eye, the layer will be invisible. Hit the eye on "5" and "6". Then go to Animations-palette and hit Duplicate Current Frame. Then go back to layers-palette and make "5" visible. Go back to Animations-palette and hit Duplicate Current Frame again and then make "6" visible.

Select all three frames in Animations-palette. Under each frame there is a number. Righclick there and chose 2.0 sec.

Go to File > Preview In > Internet Explorer to see your result

You are finish.
